August 17, 2022. Uzbekistan Airways Technics LLC has completed the painting of the Boeing 737-MAX 8 aircraft. This aircraft belongs to SCAT Airlines, the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Timur Mustafin, head of the paint shop, has been working at OOO "UAT" since 2002. The love for airplanes appeared since his youth, and he did not hesitate to study at the Tashkent Aviation College. After successfully graduated from the Specialized Aviation Institute in Kiev. Experience and professional skills are forged by twenty years of work experience at the enterprise.

"The organization of aircraft painting works begins long before the arrival of the aircraft and consists in a detailed study of the customer's livery, the list of necessary materials, planning the stages of painting and the timing of the work. This is the work of the entire team, including the engineering department, logistics department, marketing department, with the direct participation of the management of UAT LLC," says Timur Mustafin. — Before the arrival of the plane, of course, anxiety for the final result overcomes. Will the client like it? Will we have time? Will we be able to cope? But as soon as the plane is installed in the paint box, the alarm recedes. Solving current issues, there is no time to worry. And the result will not take long to wait, because the team gives their best on each plane to the fullest, using all their skills and experience accumulated over the years."

The workshop team employs eleven aircraft painting specialists who love and appreciate their work. Thanks to the responsible approach of each of them, as well as well-coordinated teamwork, aircraft arriving for painting at UAT LLC can be prepared without delay, even in the shortest possible time.

For the Boeing 737-MAX 8 aircraft, the painting was carried out using the Intermediate Coat Paint System Base Coat/Clear Coat (base + varnish), using Akzo Nobel paint materials.

This type of aircraft was serviced on the basis of OOO "UAT" for the first time, which undoubtedly speaks of new heights and opportunities that open up to OOO "Uzbekistan Airways Technics".

The painting work of the Boeing 737-MAX 8 was completed on time, and on August 17, the aircraft was handed over to the customer.
