Uzbekistan Airways Technics, LLC is a structural subdivision of Uzbekistan Airways, JSC, which has more than 99 years of experience in the field of maintenance and repair (MRO) of aircraft (AC), engines and components. The modern UAT complex carries out maintenance and repair of such aircraft as Boeing 737/747/757/767/787, Airbus 300/310/318/319/320/321 and their components. The favorable geographical location of the airline, adjacent to the territory of the "Tashkent International Airport" named after Islam Karimov, allows receiving, storage, maintenance and repair of aircraft of any class. The history of the formation of the UAT, LLC begins on November 12, 1924, when the first workshops for the repair of equipment were opened under the "Dobrolet" society. The workshops were engaged in the repair and maintenance of single-engine K-4 and K-5 aircraft, German Junkers, Farman, Junkers and BMW aircraft engines. In 1937, the aircraft repair plant No. 243 of Civil Aviation, created on this basis, carried out repairs of such types of aircraft as ANT-9, R-5, P-5, G-1, G-2, K-4, K-5, U- 2, BMW-123A, L-5 engines. In subsequent years, serial repairs of TB-3, Li-2 aircraft and engines M-17, M-34, ASh-62IR were mastered.
After the war, the plant was equipped with new technology for the production of peaceful products. For many years, in addition to the Il-12, Il-14 and Yak-12, the plant specialized in the repair of the long-range Il-62 aircraft, the Il-76 transport aircraft, the first Il-86 wide-body aircraft, AI-25 engines and TA-6 auxiliary power units. With the acquisition by Uzbekistan Airways JSC of Western-made equipment - Airbus 310, Boeing 757/767 and BAe146 / AVRO146-RJ, it became necessary to master their maintenance and in 1997 a center for Western equipment maintenance was created on the basis of the plant. Already in 1998, the first C-check in Central Asia was performed on one of the Airbus 310 aircraft.Since 1999, C-check maintenance has been performed on Boeing 767 and BAe146 / AVRO146-RJ aircraft (AC), and since 2000 - ВС Вoeing 757.
In 2002, Civil Aviation Plant No. 243 was renamed into the Uzbekistan Airways Technics aviation enterprise, and in 2006 the State Unitary Enterprise Aviation Technical Complex, which performs maintenance of the aircraft of eastern production, became part of it. Having received new aviation equipment in the form of Airbus 320 aircraft in November 2010, the specialists of UAT LLC performed the first A-check maintenance on this aircraft type, and in 2011 - C-check service.
In 2016, on the basis of UAT LLC, a workshop for the repair of composite components of the latest generation aircraft, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, was commissioned.In 2019, UAT LLC mastered the basic maintenance and repair of Boeing type aircraft - 737 / classic / NG
To date, the implementation of a large-scale project for the development of maintenance and repair of aircraft of the Boeing type - 747-200 and 747-400 is at the final stage.
