On December 1, 2022, in order to improve work in the area of aircraft painting, UAT LLC held training from “PPG Industries”. PPG Industries is an international company specializing in the production of paints, optics and special materials for the aerospace and automotive industries. Today PPG is one of the leaders among suppliers of paint and varnish materials for all types of aircrafts. PPG brought in the following specialists from the PPG side: James Robert - Technical Specialist; Alexander Reid - regional representative; Maxim Vasiliev - head of aviation and industrial division.

The training consisted of two parts: theoretical and practical. The first part included a presentation, where the application of modern materials for aircrafts painting at “UAT” LLC was considered, as well as acquaintance with new types of painting equipment.

In the second part, PPG specialists showed in practice the methods of applying various paint schemes to the elements of the aircraft.

This training contributes to the professional development of “UAT” LLC specialists, which in turn will have a positive impact on the quality of the services offered in the field of painting works.
